Applications and use cases
Efficient sample conditioning in an ethylene steam cracking
Maintaining efficiency and safety in a steam-cracking operation depends on tight control across every stage. To simplify the system and strengthen performance, an integrator used Alicat’s intrinsically safe flow and pressure instruments throughout their analyzer sampling loop. With combined measurement and control in a single device, they reduced component count and provided digital communication directly to the plant’s control system.
Pressure vessel regulation in gas and oil infrastructure
Multivariate automations streamline sample conditioning in hazardous areas
- Reduce the need for purge gases
- Gain deeper process insights through data-logging software
- Minimize safety risks with automated digital/analog access
