IS-Max™ Flow Meter for Class I Division 1

Mass flow measurement where explosive gases are continuously present

Mass flow controller products from Alicat
Flowmeters for Class I Division 1 environments deliver precise gas measurement where explosive gases are continuously present. IS‑Max is intrinsically safe and certified for Zone 0 with ATEX, IECEx, and North American DEKRA approvals, ensuring compliance in hazardous locations. Using laminar differential pressure technology, IS‑Max provides accurate mass and volumetric flow measurement with multivariate reporting, including temperature and pressure data. Key specifications:
  • Accuracy: ± 0.4% of reading or ± 0.2% of full scale
  • Up to 128 pre-loaded gas calibrations for instant switching without accuracy loss
  • Clear display for quick verification during installation and field checks
  • Communication: Digital MODBUS or Alicat® ASCII, plus analog options
  • Parameters: Mass flow, volumetric flow, absolute/gauge pressure, barometric pressure, temperature, relative humidity, dew point, and more

Full Scale Flow Ranges

0.5 SCCM – 5,000 SLPM

OPERATING PRESSURE RANGE

11.5 – 160 PSIA
