Graphic Designer / Production Artist

You’ll be a key player in driving lead multimedia and graphics projects using a variety of communication and media technology, graphic design concepts and programs, photography, and videography. The Graphic Designer will manage multiple projects and priorities to reach and influence highly technical audiences.

• Champion the brand guidelines internally and externally: Preserve and promote the company’s brands and standards across a global community of offices.
• Visual design and upkeep: Elements like branding, packaging, digital imagery for ads, web content and social, user interfaces, and trade show booth graphics. Prepare customer facing collateral for a document control system. Design, spec and order print.
• Web design and optimization: Attend to the requirements of several web properties, ensuring consistency of identity, provide a clean and engaging presentation. Ensure responsive, heuristic, high-value presentation of digital materials that are persuasive, informational, and customer support in nature.
• Performance analytics: Track and respond to analytics that signal more productive, persuasive designs, and those that lower barriers to communication.
• Video and audio media production: Concept designs, storyboards, collaborative scripting, filming and editing motion and sound media.
• Understanding of scientific and technical concepts: Ability to visually interpret and communicate complex engineering and scientific processes related to chemistry and gas control systems.
• Experience in B2B industrial marketing: Familiarity with designing for industrial audiences, including engineers, researchers, and OEM clients.
• Knowledge of instrumentation and manufacturing environments: Insight into the workflows and visual standards common in manufacturing and instrumentation sectors.
• Advanced knowledge of media software: Expert user of InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom, Premier Pro, After Effects, Audition, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Animate, and Figma.
• Skilled in graphic and visual design: Mastery of color and composition, hierarchy, balance, and typography, and print and the production requirements of offset, pad printing, dye-sub and digital content.
• Ability to manage multiple projects: Maintain progress records, meet deadlines, and communicate status effectively.
• Able to take a wider view and communicate effectively verbally and in writing: Visualize an implementation in planning and requirements review stages, ask questions of stakeholders to assess viability, and confirm understanding.

• Proven experience: 3 or more years in visual and multimedia design, with a strong portfolio of success in B2B communications for scientific or technical industries.
• Product visualization and technical illustration: Create accurate and compelling visuals of technical products, including exploded views, schematics, and application diagrams.
• Brand consistency across technical platforms: Maintain brand integrity across datasheets, manuals, packaging, and digital platforms used by technical customers.
• Designing for regulated industries: Awareness of compliance and documentation standards in industries such as aerospace, medical devices, and environmental monitoring.
• Collaboration with engineering and product teams: Comfortable working alongside engineers and product managers to ensure visual materials align with product specifications and use cases.
• Design for web: Familiar with templating, responsive design, web standards and best practices for creating eye-grabbing and compelling content flows, using Figma or equivalent.
