Single-ended 8-pin mini-DIN cables transmit power, analog, and digital signals. They have a male 8-pin connector on one end and are blunt cut on the other end, for custom wiring of your Alicat instrument to your system.

The following cable options are available:

Single-ended 8-pin mini-DIN cable

Double-ended DC Series cables have male 8-pin connectors on both ends and carry power, analog, and digital signals.

Double-ended 8-pin mini-DIN cable

Use double-ended 8-pin mini-DIN RS cables to connect your instruments to a BB3 or BB9 multi-drop breakout box. RS cables have male 8-pin connectors on both ends and carry only power and digital (RX/TX) signals.

The following cable options are available:

  • DC-32RS (3 ft, male-male, no analog)
  • DC-62RS (6 ft, male-male, no analog)

Single-ended 15-pin D-sub cables transmit power, analog, and digital signals. They have a 15-pin connector on one end and are blunt cut on the other end, for custom wiring of your Alicat instrument to your system.

Double-ended (female-female) D-sub RS-232 serial cables. This cable is commonly used to replace a BB9 RS-232 serial cable.

Note: Alicat instruments equipped with 9-pin D-sub connectors do not have the same pinouts as common RS-232 serial cables.

Single-ended 8-pin M12 cables transmit power, analog, and digital signals. They have a female 8-pin connector on one end and are blunt cut on the other end, for custom wiring of your Alicat instrument to your system.

Single-ended 8-pin M12 cable

Connect your Alicat instrument to a USB port using common Alicat electrical connectors. These cables transmit serial communications (RS-232 or RS-485) but will not power your Alicat instrument from a computer’s USB port. Your computer may require the installation of a USB device driver.

Connect your Alicat instrument to a serial port using an 8-pin min-DIN connector. These cables transmit serial communications (RS-232 or RS-485) but will not power your Alicat instrument from a computer’s serial port.
