Junior Controller

What can you expect?
Alicat has been growing internationally and with that the complexity of the financial organization has increased and your help is needed. You will be reporting directly to the CFO, who will delegate tasks and responsibilities to you. We have a team of three people in the finance department, the controller is a newly created position.
Your main responsibilities will be to assist in completion of the reporting function to our corporate headquarters, including the annual and monthly reporting. You will also be involved with ensuring that adequate financial systems are in place and properly used in our foreign entities. You will make sure we are in compliance with all legal and ethical policies. You will be able to learn about the business and provide analysis and recommend improvements where possible.
You will get trained by the CFO, so experience is less important than potential and the ability to learn quickly.
What do you need?
In order to be successful, we believe you need to be bright and interested in more than just numbers.
Always meticulous and asking the right questions. And always discrete.
You have superb skills with Excel.
You are willing to invest in yourself and are not afraid of a challenge.
Finance or accounting degree required.
