Alicat Scientific 2022 Grant Program – Applications Now Closed

For over 30 years Alicat is proud to have played a role in facilitating cutting-edge research that aims to make the world a better place. To continue this spirit, we are offering a grant program for research universities and institutes which are working on projects to make the world a safer, cleaner, and healthier place.

Eligibility

Researchers from start-up companies and local, state, and federal institutions including colleges, universities, research centers, and regulatory agencies may apply.

Important Dates

Program launch: Jan. 7, 2022
Application deadline: March 1, 2022
Awards announced: March 28, 2022

Grant Program Awards

Inspiration Award – 1 winner of $10,000 in Alicat products
Creative Solution Awards – 2 winners of $5,000 in Alicat products
Merit Awards – 4 winners of $2,000 in Alicat products

Terms and Conditions

Applications

Your application must be submitted no later than March 1st, 2022. When submitting your application, you agree to the following terms:

Permission for Alicat Scientific to generate publicity relating to the application and/or award including press releases and case studies.
Permission for Alicat Scientific to contact the applicants about our products and services.

Successful Applications

Alicat Scientific collaborates with customers to discover, refine and deliver new approaches to solving the world’s most pressing problems with flow and pressure technologies. Our expert Grant Program judging panel will evaluate applications based on their technical merit, innovation, and advancement of initiatives that improve health, safety, or the environment.

Other Considerations

Researchers in the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa) are eligible to apply.
No purchase is necessary to apply for an award.
Alicat Scientific reserves the right to exclude applications that fail to meet program criteria, and to limit the number of award recipients to only the most meritorious.
There is no limit to the number of entries that may be submitted.
Grantees have 6 months from the date of the award to order Alicat Scientific equipment and apply the award. Grantees may not disperse the award over more than 2 transactions.
Products selected by grantees will be valued in USD at the standard retail pricing in effect when the award is redeemed.
Alicat Scientific is not responsible for any local, state, or federal taxes resulting from the award.
In addition to the product donation, and as part of the donation transaction only, Alicat Scientific will provide to grant winners standard ground shipping at no charge. Expedited shipping, and customs fees or duties, are not part of the award.
Administrative/overhead costs are not allowable
Alicat Scientific reserves the right to change the terms or conditions of the program at any time, for any reason, without prior written notice.
