Configuring Your Alicat Display
The large display on front of your Alicat can be configured to meet specific application needs. Options are available for contrast, backlight on power up, and rotation for upside-down installation.
Find your firmware version in the “About” menu on the display or on the calibration sheet.
10v Firmware
LCD contrast
Select: MENU > SETUP > Display > Display Lighting
Use the buttons to increase or decrease the contrast.
Backlight On Power Up
Select: MENU > SETUP > Display > Display Lighting
Select POWER UP to toggle between Lit and Dark.
Rotate display
Select: MENU > SETUP > Display > Display Rotation
Select your desired screen rotation, then press SET to implement the change.
Older Firmwares
9v firmware
LCD contrast
Select: MENU > SETUP > Display > Screen Lighting
Use the buttons to increase or decrease the contrast.
Backlight on power-up
Select: MENU > SETUP > Display > Screen Lighting
Select POWER UP to toggle between Lit and Dark.
Rotate display
Select: MENU > SETUP > Display > Display Rotation
Select your desired rotation and press SET to implement the change.
8v firmware

Select: MENU > ADV SETUP > DISP SETUP > LCD CONTRAST
Use the buttons to set your desired contrast. Press SET to implement the change.
Backlight On Power Up
Select MENU > ADV SETUP > DISP SETUP
Select POWER UP to toggle between Lit and Dark.
Rotate display
Select: MENU > ADV SETUP > DISP SETUP > ROTATE DISP
Select your desired screen rotation, then press SET to implement the change.
