Selectable Engineering Units for Alicat Flow and Pressure Instruments

Most Alicat gas mass flow meters and mass flow controllers manufactured today feature user-selectable engineering units. (This feature is present in firmware 6v0 or higher.) If you do not see your desired engineering unit here, please contact us at info@alicat.com or 888.290.6060.

Pressure Engineering Units

Alicat pressure controllers and pressure transducers have dedicated pressure sensors that are referenced to absolute, gauge or differential pressure. Engineering units may be changed within these pressure types, but the reference may not be changed (e.g., from absolute to gauge).

Most Alicat mass flow instruments display absolute pressure only, but battery-powered models (e.g., MB, MWB, FP-25) use their integrated barometers to display gauge pressure as well. Barometer readings for these instruments are in units of absolute pressure.
