The pass-through connection most closely replicates sampler operating conditions. The low pressure drop of the Alicat ensures that it is virtually invisible to your air sampler.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Thread the Direct Mode downtube adapter into the outlet of the FP-25 until its face seal is tight against the flow body.<\/li>\n<li>Thread the Direct Mode PM inlet adapter into the inlet of the FP-25 until its face seal is tight against the flow body.<\/li>\n<li>Fit the FP-25 onto the BAM downtube, and place the PM10 inlet on top of the FP-25. If using a PM2.5 cyclone, leave it in place, and fit the FP-25 between it and the PM10 inlet.<\/li>\n<li>Insert the FP-25 external temperature probe into the sampler\u2019s radiation shield.<\/li>\n<li>Be sure to tare the Alicat FP-25 before you begin the BAM 1020 or BAM 1022 flow calibration.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Method 2: Standard Mode<\/h4>\n<p>Standard Mode connects the FP-25 to any air sampler by means of a hose barb and silicone tubing.
