On March 1st, 2025, Alicat\u00ae<\/sup> Scientific announced that the Fusion Flow Technologies products, MXM and IXM, would become Alicat\u2019s new gas mixing product lines, FusionFlow\u2122 MXM<\/a> and FusionFlow\u2122 IMX.<\/a><\/p>\n

Outgoing Fusion Flow Technologies Managing Director, Joe Ancona stated, \u201cThe FFT team is very proud to see the gas mixing platform we\u2019ve developed over the last five years graduate into its own brand within the already diverse Alicat product catalog\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

Fusion Flow Technologies was born in 2019 to provide turn\u2011key gas mixer and gas blender products. As a division of Alicat Scientific, their products would serve Alicat\u2019s gas\u2011mixing customers, and a new set of customers looking for all\u2011in\u2011one gas mixing solutions.<\/p>\n

By using Alicat\u2019s high\u2011speed mass flow and pressure instruments\u2014which are built on the latest laminar flow differential pressure technology\u2014the Fusion Flow brand could produce the precision, control, and class leading accuracy that Alicat\u2019s user base demands. Fusion Flow Technologies\u2019 gas blending lines use Alicat\u2019s proprietary \u2018MixModule\u2019 gas\u2011mixing brain, to drive the Alicat mass flow controllers in the blending system. The largely portable MXM gas blending system<\/a> represents the broadest and most variegated of the Fusion Flow Technologies product offerings.<\/p>\n

The IMX product line provides a control interface and hardware for industrial gas mixing<\/a> for fixed location, heavy duty installations.<\/p>\n
